In what ways can you think that AC Wii could fully utilize the Wiimote?
I say opening doors with the remote could be cool, pthpth.
As well as all the standard shovel, net, axe actions.
Hmm....Wow. I didn't have as many as I thought...pth.
Your ideas?

Maybe they'll put a bowling alley in town. : P You could use the nunchucks for that. I hope AC Wii will be more like AC GC but with online capabilities and a few fresh concepts. It would be cool to have people in your basement. It'd be like a hangout, you could have parties, meetings, and raffles down there.

Ah, good ideas. =D
I also hope that they bring back the NES games, too, pth.
Those were fun.
EDIT: Maybe even SNES games this time around.

Yep, that'd be cool. Hopefully they bring back the holiday characters like Jingle.

Yep, that'd be cool. Hopefully they bring back the holiday characters like Jingle. Ah yes! I forgot about those guys it's been so long! I miss those characters, they helped me love the original. And bring back the holidays that go with them, of course, pthhhpth.

I looked it up and it said it was coming out in November.
Maybe I mis-read. Animal Crossing Wilid World on the Nintendo DS is the only one I've ever had. I can only imagine what the one on the Wii will look like... -imagines-

It'll be pretty awesome, that's for sure! The best AC yet, I imagine. It's supposedly going to be unveiled at E3, also it was just hinted in this month's Nintendo Power.

Well, I think that there would be actions for the tools, like redchaoschao94 said, but I think it'd be a little cumbersome to have opening door motions.
Also, With designing clothes on the wii? It'd be a bit difficult if you were going through motions. Lots of things you'd enjoy would be lost. =\
But by the by, I think AC:Wii will stiil be awesome. After all, it's AC! The worst thing they could do is use Miis.

AC:Wii should be great!
It's going to be unveiled June 15th at the Electronic Entertainment Expo!

I'm not sure about all the Wiimote functions, but the news i heard awhile back did sound like it would be very interesting.
If you're connected to Wii-Connect24, and haven't removed the Weather Channel, the game will mimic whatever your local weather is. i'm anxious to see this new feature if it is implemented.
honestly, that's what drew me to animal crossing. i never cared for it when it first came out, but i read you could find the original mario bros. zelda 1, and punch-out, and excitebike hidden in the game.
not gonna lie, i cheated, and unlocked them all with the PRo Action Replay, cause i just wanted to play those games. but, then i stared to play AC ... and got hooked, extremely hooked. my town was called Gotham, LOL, and i had the bat symbol as my town flag, and made a batman costume, no mask, of course ... but the depth and creativity the game had was overwhelming, and i've been hooked on this series since.
Phew, quite a ramb;le, sorry , LOL!!! ;D
but, i do love this series, just for the freedom and relaxing break you get from hardcore titles.

Wow, that sounds great, having the weather be different every time.... But that'd cause a problem for people who like snow. =/ People in warm climates who could see snow on AC wouldn't anymore.

Maybe you'd have the option to use that function.

Like I said to Coco on AIM last night, people who want snowy weather who don't get snow or something could always just set their Forecast channel to somewhere that does, pthpth.

I still think that it wouldn't be real enough, doyoing. Someone who lives in... I don't know, Norway or something, might not be able to get "good ol' U.S.A. weather". Someone in Shanghai might be able to get D.C. weather, though. Funky how my Yahoo messenger defauts its weather to Shanghai, doyoing.
Oh, holidays might be a problem too. Unless we get every national holiday around the world of countries that play Animal Crossing (probably Japan, Europe and USA), we wouldn't be able to get characters like Franklin or Jingle at all, doyoing!

Pthpth, you might be able to choose which country you're in, which'll determine your holidays. That'd be cool.

I doubt ANYONE would be able to do that much without getting bored of it-- Come to think of it, I did that last month BECAUSE I was bored, doyoing.
Although it'd be nice to have Japanese holidays like Tanabata, Girls' Day, etc. Yay for Carp streamers, doyoing!

What would be nice:
Well, on AC:WW, you can house up to four characters in your house. That would be cool if you could have two different people playing their own characters simultaneously.
Just an idea.

No, I never liked the one house-four players idea they gave the DS, doyoing.
I liked how big we could make the house, but I want my own house that I can do what I want to do in. I don't like being forced to keep things or have things taken away because someone doesn't want me to do what I like, doyoing.

I think both had their pros and cons, actually. In the GC version, it looked nice to have 4 huge mansions sprung up out of nowhere pthhpth, but every house had a different mortage. In the DS version, the house could be bigger, yet only one house. The mortgage was split between everyone though. And I think this should just be changed to an AC:Wii discussion thread by now, pthhpth. x3

Just maybe, doyoing. I agree that both games had their pros and cons. But since I'll be playing with my family, I don't want anyone messing with my stuff, doyoing. Therefore, I'll take the 4 houses way. This way I can have my own privacy, as well as have an original house that no one can mess around with, doyoing. As the matter of mortgage goes, I pay all on my own either game anyway (unless my sister bothers to get on the DS), so I'm used to it. (While I also admit, it'd be nice to play as a family in the same house and make meetings on designing our house.) What housing style does everyone else like better, doyoing?

I'd like four houses rather than just one. It's just more personalized that way.
